Year-End is Where the Fun Begins!! Year end ranking madness has begun and at Chacko’s Kitchen it is no different. Carrying on with the success of 2009, this year four of us have decided to replicate the same to create ‘The 30 Best Recipes of 2010‘. Read here The 30 Best Recipes of 2009.
After a year long hard-work and so many wonderful and creative recipes around, it is time that we create a list of ‘Must Try Recipes’ with an ‘Unforgettable Taste’, for the common man. Cooking from this list, a common man or for a man who seldom cooks, will raise their self-esteem and expectation. It is this simple inspiration behind this magical list.
It’s that time of the year when it is the slowest and the busiest; slowest simply because you are getting ready for a holiday or winding down and busiest because ‘to many things to do’. Sometimes it calls for high mental energy to stay in focus. This years list will be scrutinised and selected by the following hosts:
THE CO-HOSTS ARE:
Well it wasn’t a random choice of hosts. But, after reviewing their recipes, photographs, effort towards putting them in black and white ~ I was able to understand the passion behind their blog. Initially I had invited 6 to 8 bloggers and ended up with these lovely human beings and not blogs.
Alka of Sindhi Rasoi – Has a wonderful selection of Sindhi Recipes, simplicity is the key word behind her recipes that I like, mostly home-made that bring me back to her site.
Smita of Little Food Junction - She is one of my earliest blogger friend and with her amazing creativity found yet another Fan of her, in me ! She is a graphic designer pro, painter, salad artist, poetry writer and a great Mum all rolled in one. The way she arranges her food is simply unbelievable …you must, MUST visit her blog if you have fussy eaters at home (and of course otherwise too !).
Thasneen of Cooking with Thas “Thas” yeah, that’s what Thasneen likes to be called, and I just loved her first line of introduction; “I surprise myself with Cooking! ” She has a lovely blog with step by step picture and some videos to help you get a closer view.

Thank you very much for hosting this event.
My first entry is at:
http://www.givemesomespice.com/2010/08/ladoo-churma-na-ladoo.html
The reason for choosing this recipe is because it is a very traditional recipe cooked by most Gujaratis. I am hoping that the ones who follow my recipe will also appreciate the healthier option I have adopted.

My second entry for your Top 30 Recipes event is:
